The big shots, big bankers and big businessmen that control American politics have gone too far. They
have not been content to bankroll the best candidates money can buy. That's American politics as usual.
Additionally, they have used their power to place an excellent candidate, arguably the best candidate, in
a media black hole. That's American politics at its worst!

Here's why that candidate is an excellent choice:

He graduated from Harvard College in 1964 and received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School
in 1967. That means he's smart and well educated.

After college, he founded two banks and a political consulting firm. That means he's energetic and he
knows banking and politics.

He was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988. That means that he
knows how to get legislation passed.

He served as the Governor of Louisiana, from 1988 to 1992. During his tenure in the Governor’s office,
unemployment in the state dropped by approximately half, the state budget was balanced all years
despite inheriting a huge deficit, teacher pay was linked to performance, education accountability
standards were enacted, government unions were challenged, and sweeping campaign finance reform
legislation was passed. That means that he was a very good Governor who wasn't afraid of offending
people to get the job done.

After his time as Governor, he returned to business and founded another bank and retirement
communities. That means he's still energetic and he still understands how to start up businesses.

He announced his Presidential candidacy on July 21, 2011. Based on his campaign literature, he has an
excellent understanding of the trouble with the American economy and the resolve to fix it.

Why would anyone want to hide such a promising candidate? The answer is money. Buddy Roemer has
promised to take no donation over $100. He is not planning to let any pay-offs owed to special interests
stop him from fixing America. In short, he will kick the special interests right in their well padded wallets.

Here are a few quotes that illustrate why the special interests hate Buddy's candidacy: Buddy is a
budget balancer.

"America is in trouble and it's going to get worse before it gets better. We have a debt that we can not
repay and excessive debt shrinks a nation. You lose a space program. Napoleon sells Louisiana to
America, because he's got to pay a debt..." (Buddy Roemer, Greta Van Susteren,"Excessive Debt Shrinks
A Nation,"  Fox News, Oct. 5, 2011. Note how hard Greta tried to suppress Buddy's message.)

Buddy's idea of budget balancing is to take the rich off "welfare."

"You can not read our tax code... You know why? It was written by lobbyists, special interests that paid
big checks to politicians to get their little special deal in the code. We have billion dollar corporations
that don't pay a penny in taxes. It's not right. Everybody should pay something, as little as possible, but
we're in this together. I would rewrite the tax code, 15% corporate instead of 35, but nobody gets away
with zero." (Buddy Roemer, "Governor Roemer on the Tax Code," YouTube, Oct. 8, 2011).

Buddy's plan is to reduce the budget by 1% of the Gross Domestic Product each year by cutting the fat.

"Today we're talking about the budget... The government is 25% of our whole economy. Wow! That's too
big! It was only that big for two years before, in World War II. This is not World War II. Government at 25%
is what I would call fat, a heavy burden on the tax payer, it's keeping the economy from growing. Where
should it be, you ask, 18.5%... At 18.5% government is strong enough to protect us and help us, but not
so big and fat that it kills the economy." (Buddy Roemer, "The Budget," YouTube).

"The battle in this country is against federal spending. That's the battle that must be won. And we need
government to be strong, where we need the government: to help people on the bottom, to defend our
shores, to prevent unfair trade, to protect America. I'm not against government. What I'm against is
sloppy, fat, bloated, inefficient government." (Buddy Roemer, "Buddy Roemer on "The Money","
YouTube, Sept. 2, 2011).

The first of the "bigs" to lose corporate welfare would be Big Oil, but note, Buddy plans to free Big Oil to
develop energy in America.

"It's real simple, do away with all energy subsidies, for big oil, for ethanol, do away with it, and then, do
away with the Department of Energy... We need to be energy independent, we can do it by the end of the
decade." (Buddy Roemer, Greta Van Susteren,"Excessive Debt Shrinks A Nation,"  Fox News, Oct. 5,

Buddy also plans to end unfair trade and bring back jobs.

"As President, I think a person ought to stand to defend American jobs from unfair trade. I'm for trade,
I'm for competition, but unfair trading kills us. I will stop it. I will change the tax code, to quit rewarding
companies for going overseas. And I will have a fair trade adjustment on Chinese products. We'll get a
level playing field, and watch what America does. It'll compete with anybody on earth." (Buddy Roemer,
"Governor Buddy Roemer on Jobs," YouTube, Oct. 8, 2011).

"We're getting eaten alive in international trade from unfair competition. We are losing our best jobs, we
are giving them away. We let GE give away 15,000 American jobs and pay no taxes... The reasons that the
big corporations sell jobs overseas and get away with it is that they give money to the politicians."
(Buddy Roemer, Greta Van Susteren,"Excessive Debt Shrinks A Nation,"  Fox News, Oct. 5, 2011).

"It is Main Street that creates the majority of jobs in America. It is Main Street that sends our brave
young men and women to war. It is Main Street that hurts when another manufacturing plant closes in
America only to be reopened in China. It is Main Street that is being foreclosed on. And it is Main Street
that is suffering, while the awful greed of Wall Street continues to hurt the middle class. "Too big to fail"
banks have only gotten bigger, thanks to government bailouts, and as President, I will end the
corporate tax loopholes that Un-American corporations take advantage of, only to ship our best jobs
overseas." (Buddy Roemer, "Why I Support Occupy Wall Street" - Gov. Buddy Roemer, Oct 8, 2011).

I have studied the economic problems of America for the last year. I believe Buddy Roemer and Ron
Paul are the only candidates being honest with voters. I love Ron Paul, but I think Buddy Roemer is
better qualified, a practical executive who gets things done. I object to the "bigs" trying to hide his
message. America needs him.

As a Christian, the words of Christ lead me to believe that the Christian nations, with their charities and
reverence for human rights, will be given God's Kingdom on earth. "Come, ye blessed of My Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungered, and ye
gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: naked, and ye
clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me. Inasmuch as ye have
done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me." (Matthew 25:34-36, 40).

God has always prepared a way for His people to survive attempts by pagans and the unrighteous to
overcome them. It is my opinion that Buddy Roemer was prepared by God for this critical time.
