That Satan exists is obvious from his face to face confrontation with Christ. “And the devil, taking Him up
into an high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil
said unto Him, All this power will I give Thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to
whomsoever I will I give it. If Thou therefore will worship me, all shall be Thine. And Jesus answered and
said unto him, Get thee behind Me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him
only shalt thou serve.” (Luke 4:5-8).

Some people will tell you that Satan doesn't exist, however note that Christ relied on the written word of
the Bible to refute Satan. If Christ relied on the truth of the Bible, so can you. Satan exists.

Note also that Satan says that all the power and all the glory of the nations is delivered unto him, and he
gives this power and glory to people of his choosing. The next time you ask God how some terrible thing
could happen, answer it yourself: Satan has been in control of the world since Adam and Eve lost their
joint dominion. “...And God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:
and have dominion...” (Gen. 1:28). How and when Satan loses his dominion to Christ is explained later in
this tract.

As Satan says, the power and the glory of the nations are his, that means that he controls the most
powerful people on earth. (The scripture actually says that he deceives the nations – Rev. 20:3; see
below.) He also controls the courts outright. Here is God's denunciation of the judges. “Which justify the
wicked for reward (take bribes), and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him (create
political prisoners)! Therefore as fire devoureth the stubble, and flame consumeth the chaff, so their root
shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust, because they have cast away the Law of the
Lord of hosts (upholding man-made laws instead), and despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel (cause
men to swear by man-made perjury laws instead of the Bible).” (Is. 5:23,24).

Here is Christ's denunciation of the lawyers. “Woe (a curse) upon you also, ye lawyers! For ye lade men
with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
Woe unto you, lawyers! For ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and
them that were entering in ye hindered.” (Luke 11:46,52). Lawyers legislate crimes without victims, escape
penalty for such crimes by appealing their convictions, and have created a confusing mess of the law so
that people have difficulty defending themselves.

Satan also spoke to Christ through the mouth of Peter. “From that time forth began Jesus to show unto
His disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests
and scribes, and be killed and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took Him, and began to rebuke
Him, saying, Be it far from Thee, Lord: this shall not be unto Thee. But He turned and said unto Peter, Get
thee behind Me, Satan: thou art an offense unto Me; for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but
those that be of men.” (Matt. 16:21-23).

Peter wished Christ to be a King in glory, rather than our Perfect Sacrifice. Thus Peter would become
important in the eyes of men. There is an vital lesson here. The things that are of men include envy,
greed, pride and so forth. If you allow such negative worldly emotions and lusts to have a place in your
life, then Satan can use you to fight the work of God. Particularly those in the ministry should remember,
there is no limit to the good you can do if you do not care who gets the credit.

The timing of Satan's loss of dominion over the earth is revealed in the creation week. “Knowing this first,
that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the
promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation. But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promises, as some
men count slackness, but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the
heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth
also, and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look
for new heavens, and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:3,4,8-10,13). First, to
reassure you, God makes provision for His Elect to survive this destruction of the wicked.

The key part of this scripture is “that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years
as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8). Each of the six days of creation is taken as a thousand years. Based on this idea,
the rough time of the establishment of the Millennium Kingdom would be about 2000. (In 1650, Irish
Protestant Bishop James Ussher spent 20 years calculating the date of creation as 4004 BC. The
calculation of that date was based on the chronology of the Bible. For various reasons, the calculation is
inexact. Kings often ruled jointly, for example, and the years of co-regency are counted as part of the
reign of both kings, in other words, counted twice. On the other hand a brilliant scholar like Ussher should
not be taken lightly.)

The 6000 years that results from taking each of the six days of creation as a thousand years, is not 6000
years from the creation. Rather, it is 6000 years from the fall of Adam and Eve, and the granting of
dominion to Satan. So after 6000 years of sin by our rulers, as Satan deceives and entices men and
nations, we have a thousand year sabbatical (Sabbath Rest) where under the rule of our benefactor Christ
in His Millennium Kingdom, there is no sin in government. No one can say exactly when the Christ's
Millennium Kingdom begins, because, as the scripture says, “the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in
the night.” (2 Peter 3:10).

There have been years of debate between Evolutionists and Creationists, and one would assume from the
last two paragraphs that I am a strict Creationist. This is not true. I believe that like Christ, God sometimes
spoke in parables through the mouth of His prophets. “Then said I, Ah Lord God, they say of me, Doth he
not speak parables?” (Ez. 20:49).

So when God described the Creation to Moses, I believe He gave us a parable which points directly to the
timing of the establishment of Christ's Millennium Kingdom on earth. The rest of you can continue the
debate, as you see from this website, I have better things to do.

Chaining up Satan so that he can no more deceive the nations is a heavenly work. “And I saw an angel
(Christ) come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand. And
he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand
years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should
deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed a
little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the
souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:1-4).

Just as the Millennium Kingdom begins, Christ comes down from heaven unofficially (appearing as an
angel, messenger) to deal with Satan. It must be Christ or the Holy Ghost (appearing in the name of Christ)
since even an archangel could not deal with Satan. “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the
devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him (Satan) a railing (shouted)
accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude 9).

There are a number of scriptures which deal with the turmoil of God and Christ wresting the earth from
Satan's grip. “For thus saith the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace... and
all faces are turned into paleness. Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of
Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of
hosts, that I will burst his (Satan's) yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds (Satan's corrupt laws
and governments), and strangers (to the Lord) shall no more serve themselves of him (take the fruits of
Jacob's descendant's labor for unholy purposes). But they (the descendants of Jacob) shall serve the
Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. Therefore, fear thou not, O my
servant Jacob, saith the Lord, neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed
from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return (to Israel), and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and
none shall make him afraid. For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all
nations wherein I have scattered thee, but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee
altogether unpunished.” (Jer. 30:5-11).

Many Christians think of themselves as Spiritual Israel, and in this they are correct. But they are also
physical Israel. When the ten tribes of the kingdom Samaria (the northern half of ancient Israel) migrated
away from the Assyrian invasion of their homeland, they went west to Europe. As was their tradition, the
tribe of Dan marked the places of their sojourn with the name of their father, Dn in Hebrew (the Hebrew
language has no vowels). So the Don river and the Danube, and Sweden, and Denmark, and Scandinavia
bear record of their progress. In more recent history, members of the ten tribes migrated south to France
(the north men, Normans), and both the Danes and the Normans conquered England. From Europe and
England, members of the ten tribes settled America.

In the lands where the ten tribes were scattered, they were joined by the members of the tribe of Judah,
who formed the Christian Church, and taught the message of Christ. This is according to prophecy. “The
Lord hath sent a Word (Christ the Word, see John 1:1,14) into Jacob (to the southern kingdom of Israel,
Judah, who mostly refused Christ the Word), and it (Christ the Word) hath lighted on Israel (the ten tribes
who were scattered in the gentile nations). And all the people shall know (all twelve tribes shall know of
Christ the Word), even Ephraim (royal house of the northern kingdom) and the inhabitants of Samaria
(descendants of the ten tribes)...” (Is. 9:9,10). So, you see, these prophecies apply to the Christian Church.

As the following scripture illustrates, Jacob's return is to the nation Israel. “As I live, saith the Lord God,
surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you (the
choice will be defy God and die, obey God and live). And I will bring you out from the people, and will
gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out
arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people (either willingly or
fleeing the wrath of God), and there will I plead with you face to face (there will be prophets among you).
Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt (through the mouths of Moses
and Aaron), so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God. And I will cause you to pass under the rod (give
you a judge), and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant (write My law in your hearts – Jer. 31:31-
34): and I will purge out from among you the rebels (those who refuse to learn God's law), and them that
transgress against Me (habitual sinners): I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and
they shall not enter into the land of Israel (but will die in the wilderness as did those who offended God in
the wilderness of Egypt – Num. 5:27-29), and ye shall know that I am the Lord. As for you, O house of Israel,
thus saith the Lord God; Go ye, serve ye everyone his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto
Me (come when I call): but pollute ye My holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. (This
marks a separation of the whole house of Israel, not just in the wilderness, but everywhere in the world.
God casts off those who are not walking in His law, henceforth He will consider them heathens and they
will have no inheritance in Israel.) For in My holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith
the Lord God, there shall all the house of Israel (that God acknowledges), all of them in the land (including
the resident Jews), serve Me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the
firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. (God's people enter the land of Israel, and sacrifice
before Him according to His Law as amended by Christ, He selects the 144,000 “firstfruits unto God and to
the Lamb” - Rev. 14:4.)” (Ez. 20:33-40).

There are other scriptures about this gathering on this website, the one following is a favorite that
appears nowhere else. “And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of
Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them
into their own land: and I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king
shall be king to them all, neither shall they be divided into two nations, neither shall they be divided into
two kingdoms any more at all (Judah, the two tribes who are the known Jews, and Samaria, whose ruling
house was Ephraim, the scattered tribes who became Christians in the heathen lands where they were
scattered, will become one nation): neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with
their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling
places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their
God. And David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd (the Jews
accept Christ and the Christians accept the Mosaic Law as amended by Christ): they shall also walk in My
judgments, and observe My Statutes, and do them (all follow the Bible Law). And they shall dwell in the
land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell
therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and My servant David will be
their prince for evermore. Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting
covenant with them: and I will place them (give them their allotments of land), and multiply them, and will
set My sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be
their God, and they shall be My people. And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when
My sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forever.” (Ez. 37:21-28).
