QUOTABLE NOTABLES
Dr. Ellen Brown, J.D., developed her research skills as an attorney practicing civil litigation in Los
Angeles. In "Web of Debt," her latest book, she turns those skills to an analysis of the Federal Reserve
and "the money trust." She shows how this private cartel has usurped the power to create money from
the people themselves, and how we the people can get it back.

Dr. Ellen Brown
Ellen has written many articles for www.GlobalResearch.ca. Some of her ideas are summarized here.

Dr. Ron Paul, M.D. was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg
College and the Duke University School of Medicine and served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice. As a specialist in
obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake
Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 18 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.

In Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Congressman Paul served on the House Banking
committee, where he was a strong advocate for sound monetary policy and an outspoken critic of the
Federal Reserve’s inflationary measures. He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family
values and consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and used his
House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. In 1984, he
voluntarily relinquished his House seat and returned to his medical practice.

Dr. Paul returned to Congress in 1997 to represent the 14th congressional district of Texas. He
presently serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign
Affairs. He continues to advocate a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a
return to constitutional principles.

Ron Paul
A consistent critic of the federal government, Ron Paul speaks from 24 years experience in the House
of Representatives. My reasons for supporting Ron Paul's candidacy in 2012 are given at the end of the
article.

Peter Schiff is the son of Irwin Schiff, a prominent tax protester. He was born and raised in New Haven,
Connecticut, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987 with a degree in finance and
accounting.

Peter began his career as a financial consultant. In 1996 Schiff and a partner acquired a small brokerage
firm and renamed it Euro Pacific Capital. The company today has more than 15,000 clients and six offices
nationwide, with its headquarters in Westport, Connecticut.

Peter is also an author and financial commentator, and was a candidate in the 2010 Republican primary
for the United States Senate seat from Connecticut.

Peter Schiff
Peter Schiff is so successful because rich people pay for his advice. They trust him to guide their
investments, because he studies world markets and predicts the future accurately. As his quotes attest,
he predicted the Great Recession years in advance. I have included some of his more recent
predictions in this selection of quotes.

Buddy Roemer (Charles Elson Roemer III) graduated as valedictorian of Bossier High School in 1960. He
graduated from Harvard College in 1964 and received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in
1967.

Buddy was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988. He served as
the 52nd Governor of Louisiana, from 1988 to 1992. He was elected as a Democrat but switched to the
Republican Party on March 11, 1991. He is a successful banker.

On July 21, 2011, Roemer announced his entry into the Presidential race.  His campaign targets the big
money interests that have corrupted the American political system with disastrous results for the
American economy.

Buddy Roemer

Buddy is included on this website primarily because of his opposition to global free trade which he
views as an experiment has been tried and has proved to be a disaster to our economy. His views on
big money are right on as well.
