THE MARK OF THE BEAST
The mark of the beast is about allegiance to Satan. It is about allegiance to the elaborate governmental
structure that Satan hides behind as he rules the world. The prophecy of the Bible describes this
elaborate governmental structure, particularly Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, which are the subjects of this
article, but Satan also confessed it to Christ.

"And the devil, taking Him up into an high mountain, shewed unto Him
all the kingdoms of the world in a
moment of time. And the devil said unto Him,
All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for
that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it
. If Thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall
be Thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind Me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt
worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve." (Luke 4:5-8).

Christ's answer to Satan explains what Christians must do; they must serve God and only God. Christ
ordered Satan to get behind Him (out of His sight). He could do that, because He was divine. You must
turn away from Satan yourself and leave him behind.

The whole subject of Satan's kingdom is clothed in allegory in the Bible, his kingdom is symbolized by
great unnatural beasts, first in Daniel 7, then in Revelation 13. V. T. Houteff has written extensively
about these beasts, particularly in "The Shepherd's Rod," Volume 2. I'm going to try to keep it simple and
skim the surface, for more details, refer to Houteff's literature which can be found online.

The key to these great empires is that they sheltered God's Chosen People, the tribes of Israel. Even in
their disgrace God cared for them. God set up each empire in advance, then moved His people into it as
they spread around the earth.

"Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove
upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first
was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up
from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it." (Dan. 7:1-3).

The first empire was Babylon, which captured the Jews and kept them for the 70 years of the Babylonian
captivity. This empire is characterized by a lion, the king of beasts and by an eagle, the king of birds.
This is fitting for several reasons. Abraham, the man selected to father the chosen people and Sarah,
his wife, and Isaac and Jacob's wives, came from Ur in the Chaldean mountains, part of the Babylonian
empire, so this area contains the root stock of the Chosen People. Also, the kings of Babylon had a
prophetic link with God, they dreamed prophetic dreams and saw prophetic visions. (See Daniel 2,4,5.)

The lion is a symbol of Christ, "the Lion of the tribe of Juda" (Rev. 5:5). Christ appeared in Babylon in the
fiery furnace to protect Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. "He answered and said, Lo, I see four men
loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of
God." (Dan. 3:25).

The eagle is a symbol the Holy Ghost and of God's care for His people. Note that the woman of
Revelation 12, who symbolizes the one true church throughout the ages, has the wings of an eagle.
"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into
her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent
(Satan)." (Rev. 12:14).

The Holy Ghost, in Her tender care for God's people, can be characterized as an eagle. "As an eagle
stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them
on her wings..." (Deut. 32:11). The Holy Ghost gave Daniel the power of prophecy to protect the Chosen
People in Babylon. "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake
as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1:21).

The symbols of the lion and the eagle wings indicate God's commitment to sustaining and protecting His
people even in a foreign land, a commitment to be fully realized by Christ and the Holy Ghost in the
latter day Christian church.

The Babylonian empire contained Mesopotamia, Syria, Phonecia, Israel, Philistinia, northern Arabia and
parts of Asia Minor, basically it was middle-eastern. The next empire was much larger.

"And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three
ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh."
(Dan. 7:5).

The Medes and the Persians overthrew Babylon in 539 BC. Most of their empire was obtained by bloody
war, "Arise, devour much flesh." Their Persian Empire once took in part of Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey,
Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, part of India, Georgia, Armenia,
Azerbaijan, Russia, and Ukraine.

"After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the
beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it." (Dan. 7:6).

Alexander the Great subdued and extended the Persian Empire. With his death at 33 years old, four of
his generals, the four heads of the leopard, split control of the Greek Empire. The Greek Empire
included not only most of the countries of the Persian Empire, but also Greece, Macedonia and Egypt.

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with
the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns." (Dan. 7:7).

This beast is not likened to a recognisable animal, because it represents the Roman Empire, at times in
league with the Chosen People (as when it crucified Christ for the Jews), at later times opposed to the
Jews and persecuting them. Similarly, pagan Rome first persecuted Christians, then became Christian.
Further, this beast represents Rome in both her imperial and papal phases.

"I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there
were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes
of man, and a mouth speaking great things." (Dan. 7:8).

This indescribable beast represented Rome in his first stage and showed prophetically by his ten horns
that there were ten kings (horns) to arise out of Rome. In his second stage it showed that the papacy
(the little horn with "eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things") was to arise and
subdue three kings. As a bystander (angel) explains to Daniel, "And the ten horns out of this kingdom
are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first
(religious rather than secular), and he shall subdue three kings." (Dan. 7:24).

The first manifestation of the little horn was as the Bishop of Rome (some years later the Bishop of
Rome took the title Pope). As Bishop of Rome, the little horn prevailed over Emperor Constantine to
make Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire, and to provide the Christians a palace and a
church. Later Popes humbled Kings of Germany and England to fulfill this prophecy of subduing three
kings. In 1077, Pope Gregory prevailed over Henry IV of Germany. In 1209, Pope Innocent III prevailed
over King John of England.

The Roman Empire added Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, western Germany and
northern Africa to the Greek Empire. The papacy remains a dominant influence in the western world.

The beast that follows these four is found in Revelation 13. Before looking at that prophecy, let's take a
look at another beast that is somewhat similar, the manifestation of Satan found in Revelation 12.

"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold
a great red dragon, having seven heads
and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads
. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven,
and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be
delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child (Christ),
who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought
and his angels... And
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our
God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night. And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev.12:3-5,7,9-11).

Several things to note here: first, the great dragon is clearly identified as Satan. Second, using Herod,
Satan did try to kill Christ at his birth, see Matthew 2:1-18. Third, Satan was cast out of heaven
after the
crucifixion of Christ, because the description of the faithful angels' victory says "they overcame him by
the blood of the Lamb."

Now note the description of Satan in his dragon manifestation, "a great red dragon, having seven heads
and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads." Just as the horns of the indescribable beast of
Daniel 7 represent kings, the horns of the dragon represent the power of civil authorities or kings. The
seven crowns on the heads of the dragon represent the power of religious authorities, as is seen in the
following scripture.

"Then take silver and gold, and make
crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of
Josedech, the high priest; and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold
the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the
temple
of the Lord
..." (Zech. 6:11,12).

Seven is the number of completeness in things of God, the seven last plagues, the seven Spirits of
God, etc. So the seven crowns on the seven heads of the dragon show that Satan had complete power
over the religious authorities at the time of the birth of Christ. The ten horns show Satan's power over
civil authorities. Satan ruled the world.

How Satan ruled the world is shown by the crowns on the heads (religious authorities). In the centuries
after Christ, Satan ruled through the power of the church. The years after the crucifixion saw
persecution of Christians by Jews and pagans, followed by Roman Catholic persecution of Christians,
particularly the Albigensians. During the course of the massacre of Béziers there were thousands of
deaths. Catholic persecutions also included the Wycliffites, Hussites and other heretics in Bohemia, the
Waldenses and the Eastern Orthodox church. During the Inquisition, torture and death by fire were
common for those who questioned Roman Catholic theology.

The same scripture that reveals Satan's manifestation as a dragon reveals that he is a world class
deceiver, "
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world
." (Rev. 12:9). The horns (civil authorities) and heads (religious authorities) form the
elaborate governmental and religious structure that Satan hides behind as he rules the world. The next
beast we consider, also having seven heads and ten horns, is part of this satanic deception.

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and
ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast
which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth
of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." (Rev.13:1,2).

This beast has the body of the leopard that represented the Greek Empire, the feet of the bear that
represented the Persian Empire and the mouth of the lion that represented the Babylonian Empire.
Clearly it is the continuation of these empires. From its seven heads and ten horns, obviously this beast
(world empire) is part of  the elaborate governmental and religious structure Satan uses to decieve the
world. Its heads, religious authorities, are in apostasy, they are an offense to God, "upon his heads the
name of blasphemy."

The crowns of this beast are not on the heads (religious authorities), but on the horns (civil authorities).
In the time of this beast, the Protestant Reformation has cut into the power of the Roman Catholic
church, princes and kings have revolted from papal control, and civil governments have prevailed over
religious institutions. As this beast comes to power, kings rather than religions rule the world. But note
that this beast also derives his power from Satan, "the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and
great authority."

Given the connection of Christ and the Holy Ghost to the first beast, the lion with eagle wings that
represented the Babylonian Empire, the "mouth as the mouth of a lion" on this beast indicates that it
claims to speak for Christ, "the Lion of the tribe of Juda" (Rev. 5:5) and indeed it has a chosen religion,
Roman Catholicism.

That this beast has feet "as the feet of a bear" indicates that it has made great advances in the area of
transportation, a complex system of roads was one of the innovations of the Persian Empire, which was
characterized as a bear. Other innovations included organized and orderly government and armies.

That this beast "was like unto a leopard" means that it is characterized by the philosophical, scientific
and cultural innovations that characterized the leopard beast, the Greek Empire. Clearly this strange
beast is a symbol of the Western World.

"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the
world wondered after the beast." (Rev. 13:3).

Fulfilling prophecy, the papacy prevailed over Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, Henry IV of
Germany and King John of England, subduing three kings. Interactions with civil authorities after the
Protestant Reformation were less successful. In 1798, Pope Pius VI was taken prisoner by Napoleon's
General Berthier, who demanded that the Pius renounce temporal (civil) authority. Representing the
head (religious authority) that was "wounded to death," Pope Pius VI died in captivity.

Vatican City was established in 1929 by the Lateran Treaty. The "State of the City of the Vatican" is a
landlocked
sovereign city-state. Thus temporal (civil) authority was restored to the papacy, fulfilling the
prophecy of the wounded head, "his deadly wound was healed." Catholicism was the first religion that
was also a country, "all the world wondered after the beast" as one Christian church was raised above
all the rest.

"And they worshipped the dragon (Satan) which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the
beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" (Rev. 13:4).

At the risk of being mugged by the Political Correctness Police, I'll start by saying that all pagans are
worshipping Satan. Christians and Jews worship the beast instead, they rely on their governments
rather than God. The Jews are estranged from God because they refused Christ. Most Christians are
estranged from God because they have refused the Mosaic Law.

As Christ says, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips;
but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments
of men." (Matt. 15:8,9).

Idols (statues) in the churches are forbidden by the God's Second Commandment. "Thou shalt not make
unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the water under the earth..." (Ex. 20:4). Sunday worship, Christmas and Easter, are
pagan in origin, God's true feast days are found in Leviticus 23.

Since God gives you specific instructions on how He is to be worshipped, if you worship Him according
to the false doctrines of men, you are a rebel. DUH!!! "And I will purge out from among you the rebels,
and them that transgress against me... and ye shall know that I am the Lord." (Ex. 20:38). You may be
confused about who you are worshipping, but God can discern the obedient from the rebels.

There is no question of fighting this beast, "who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with
him?" God's people are expected instead to retreat from the beast, particularly when they hear the call
to come out of Babylon.

"And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth
was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is
fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of
every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication,
and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are
waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying,
Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues." (Rev. 18:1-4).

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given
unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven." (Rev. 13:5,6).

The mouth of this beast is the mouth of the lion that symbolizes the Babylonian Empire. Sunday worship
is directly linked to Sun-worship found in Babylonia and other ancient cultures. In Babylonia, the
goddess of spring was called Ishtar, her worship is the origin of Easter. Babylonians celebrated a winter
festival called the Sacaea, this is the basis of the timing of Christmas. Other Christmas customs, for
example, the Christmas tree, are also based in ancient pagan traditions. Imposition of these pagan
forms of worship on Christianity allowed the Babylonian mouth of the beast to open "his mouth in
blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven."

"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given
him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any
man have an ear, let him hear." (Rev. 13:7-9).

Many saints have tried to bring the Christianity back to biblical worship and been persecuted or
martyred by this beast. Millions have been deceived into accepting the defiled Christianity of this
beast's mouth as true worship, in effect worshipping Satan. Only those with pure hearts, who have
placed their names "in the book of life of the Lamb" by loving God and their fellow man, can escape this
great satanic deception.

"He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with
the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." (Rev. 13:10). The Saints may have a long
wait, but they can trust God to mete out justice to their persecutors.

The next beast has only two horns rather than ten, so it is the symbol of a local rather than a universal
multinational government.

"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake
as a dragon." (Rev. 13:11).

This beast, the United States of America, was conceived in Christian (lamb-like) principles, with a
Constitution which protects the rights of its people. Its two horns represent a dual form of leadership, a
president and vice president. According to this prophecy, the United States will become a spokesman
for Satan, the dragon, "he spake as a dragon." At that time, the United States will repudiate its
Constitution and take away the liberty of its people. (Please note that this loss of liberty could be "for
the good of the people in a dangerous world.")

"And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which
dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." (Rev. 13:12).

The first beast of the Christian era, with the lion mouth, the bear feet and the leopard body, was
empowered by Satan to rule the world, "the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority." (Rev.13:2). So also Satan has raised this beast with "two horns like a lamb" to a position of
world might, "he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him." In 2009, the United States spent
over $660 Billion on its military, six times as much as the next biggest spender, China. It is not Christian
principles that maintain America's first place among the nations, it is military might.

In 1961, 50 years ago this year, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld various state's blue laws restricting
commercial activities on Sunday in four landmark Sunday-law cases. Saturday is the Bible Sabbath. The
Bible mandates Saturday worship, the Roman Catholic church, "whose deadly wound was healed" (see
above) mandates Sunday worship.

According to the United States Constitution, First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting
an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." In its Sunday-law decisions, the
United States both repudiated its Constitution and caused "the earth and them which dwell therein to
worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of
men..." (Rev. 13:13).

In 1945, by dropping atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the United States made "fire come down
from heaven on the earth in the sight of men."

"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do
in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the
beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." (Rev. 13:14).

In 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Russian Prime Minister Joseph Stalin and British Prime
Minister Winston Churchill agreed at Yalta to establish a body devoted to fostering international peace.
The United Nations charter was signed in San Francisco with the stated goal to build communication and
cooperation between nations.  The International Court of Justice was made part of the United Nations.
The United Nations is headquartered in New York City.

The "miracle" of the atom bomb developed in America allowed Roosevelt to resurrect Woodrow
Wilson's League of Nations (which Congress refused to accept in 1920). Roosevelt sold the United
Nations as a tool for peace, this was deceptive because the United States immediately participated in an
arms race with the Soviet Union.

The Roman Catholic church, the only church that is a sovereign country, slowly gained influence in the
United Nations, gaining Permanent Observer Status in 1964. The Roman Catholic church has some of the
privileges of a state at the UN, such as being able to speak and vote at UN conferences. No other
religion has been granted this elevated status.

This prophecy has been literally fulfilled as the United Nations becomes more and more like the beast
that preceded it, with its ten horns and seven heads symbolizing the rulers (horns) and religions
(heads) that have come under its jurisdiction.

"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both
speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." (Rev. 13:
15).

The United Nations was given life by the United States which is its biggest supporter, providing billions
annually to support the organization, "he had power to give life unto the image of the beast." The United
Nations speaks for itself among the nations and currently it has buy and sell restrictions on almost a
dozen nations and sanctions of frozen assets and travel bans on many individuals, "the image of the
beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should
be killed."

In this verse, a switch occurs between prophecy fulfilled and prophecy yet unfulfilled. Obviously, the
United Nations can not now enforce a death decree on those who refuse to adhere to its principles, BUT
the structure to issue such decrees already exists. When the prophesied WWIII takes place, I would
expect this prophecy to be fulfilled immediately against war criminals and eventually against Christians
keeping the Saturday Sabbath and the Feast Days of the Bible and preaching the Kingdom of God. After
the devastation of WWIII, the United Nations will rule the world.

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right
hand, or in their foreheads..." (Rev. 13:16).

The technology to fulfill this prophecy already exists, a solar powered microchip to be implanted just
under the skin on parts of the body normally exposed to the sun, like the forehead or the back of the
hand.

"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number
of his name." (Rev. 13:17).

This is a restriction on commerce and three groups are not affected by it. First there are those
individuals that have had a microchip implanted in hand or forehead to be scanned proving that they
have credit. Second, there are those who buy and sell in the name of the beast, these are governments
authorized to make large purchases by the United Nations. Third are those organizations that have the
number of the beast, these are overt and covert groups under direct control of the beast.

{The mark of the beast is offensive to God. "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,
If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and
in the presence of the Lamb." (Rev.14:9,10).}

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of
a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six." (Rev. 13:18).

Wisdom is one of the titles of the Holy Ghost, who is protector of the Kingdom of God. Hold that thought.

The number of the beast is associated with a man; from the work of V. T. Houteff, this man is associated
with the two horned beast, the United States. The number 666 itself is somewhat contradictory, it has
associations with the Kingdom of God.

The tribute to King Solomon was 666 talents of gold. "Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in
one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold." (2 Chron. 9:13). Since Solomon was
God's chosen king ruling over His Chosen People, that money was given for a holy purpose.

The return from the Babylonian captivity after seventy years brought about 50,000 Jews back to
Jerusalem, see Ezra 1 for details. Among those returning were the "children of Adonikam, six hundred
sixty and six." (Ezra 2:13).

What that means is that the Kingdom of God, despite efforts to persecute its people, is safe in the
Christian countries under the rule of the two horn and leopard beasts. The Jews were safe in Babylon
under the rule of the lion beast, despite the persecutions of authorities, despite restrictions on their
freedom of worship, the fiery furnace and the lion's den. They were protected by Christ and the Holy
Ghost (Wisdom), just as Christians who are walking with Christ in God's Law will be protected in modern
day Babylon. (Rebels forfeit God's protection.)

"Jerusalem (God's Kingdom) shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and
cattle therein: For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about (My Kingdom), and will be
the Glory (Holy Ghost) in the midst of her. Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith
the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.
Deliver thyself, O
Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon
. For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath He
sent me unto the nations which spoiled (stole from) you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of
His eye. For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants
(servants of the great will steal from them to give to the Kingdom of God): and ye shall know that the
Lord of hosts hath sent me.
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the
midst of thee, saith the Lord. And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my
people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee
, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me
unto thee." (Zech. 2:4-11).

The Jews in captivity in Babylon are the model for God's people. They stayed together as a community
for 70 years, until the Lord called them home. The Kingdom of God is in exile in modern day Babylon,
caught in the rule of the modern day beasts. The prophecies of these beasts are only partially fulfilled,
the time here may be quite long. I leave you with the advice God gave His captured people through the
mouth of Jeremiah.

"Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have
caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant
gardens, and eat the fruit of them; take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for
your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be
increased there, and not diminished." (Jer. 29:4-6).

Separate yourselves and avoid the mark of the beast. Don't wait for God to deliver you! "Deliver thyself,
O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon." (Zech. 2:7).

For advice on how to separate, see No. 56, "The Third Trumpet." For advice on how to prosper after
separating, see No. 112, "The Business Model For The Kingdom Of God." One more thing, get out of the
cities. When God judges modern day Babylon, according to prophecy, He will destroy her cities.
