The harvest of the righteous of the world begins suddenly and is accomplished in a time frame consistent
with Christ's earthly ministry to the Jewish nation. God's Kingdom is gathered during the end-time, in the
time when God destroys Satan's dominion over the earth.

“Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom (Satan's dominion), and I will destroy it
from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord. For,
lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet
shall not the least grain (youngest saint) fall upon the earth. All the sinners of My people shall die by the
sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of
David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in
the days of old: that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by
My name (Branches of the True Vine, Christ), saith the Lord that doeth this.
Behold, the days come,
saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that
soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
And I will bring
again the captivity (return the dispersed) of My people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and
inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens,
and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled out of
their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God." (Amos 9:8-15).“Surely the Lord God will do
nothing, but he revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7).

So while most of the verses just quoted are self explanatory, the word of the sudden harvest is found in
Amos 9:13, the verse that you see underlined above. Let me define the terms.

A Christian plowman is a field worker, whether digging wells, or handing food to refugees, or healing the
sick. Wherever they are, they are helping others and the glory of Christ is shining through their lives.

A reaper is defined by Christ as an angel that gathers the harvest of the righteous. “He answered and
said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are
the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them
is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.” (Matt. 13:37-39).

Here are Christ's instructions to his reapers. “Let both (wheat and tares) grow together until the harvest:
in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in
bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn.” (Matt. 13:30).

Before I continue defining terms, I feel I should say that the gathering and the binding are done with
messages. The tares gather themselves around pastors who oppose the message, calling the gathering
of God's Kingdom a satanic deception. In response to the same message, the righteous gather
themselves in waste places where they can be safe from God's wrath on Satan's dominion. Ellen White
writes: “I saw the saints leaving the cities and villages, and associating together in companies, and living
in the most solitary places. Angels provided them food and water...” (Early Writings, p. 282). This is truly
righteousness by faith.

Christ also defined a sower of seed. “He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man.” (Matt. 13:30).
Christ is gone but His testimony remains. In our day, the sowers of seed turn hearts and minds and lives
as did Christ, using the Gospel message and Christ's example and sacrifice. A sower of seed is a gospel
minister.

A treader of grapes can be expected to shout. (See Is. 16:10 and Jer. 48:32.) These treaders have the
shouting of God in their mouths. “Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto
them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter His voice from His holy habitation: He shall mightily roar
upon His habitation; He shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the
earth.” (Jer. 25:30). This warning to all mankind is the Loud Cry. The treaders shouting it are Evangelists.

Having defined our terms, let's look again at Amos 9:13. “Behold, the days come, sayeth the Lord, that the
plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains
shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.”

There are two harvests here, the harvests of Rev. 14, first the grain harvest which is reaped, then the
grape harvest which is treaded out. Of these harvests (Rev. 14:14-19), Victor T. Houteff said; ““Here we
are again told that there are two reapings, one by the Son of man, and another by an angel. The reaping
by the Son of man precedes the reaping by the angel. “Son of man,” therefore gathers the first fruits, and
the angel gathers the second fruits. (The vines, not the fully ripe grapes, he casts in the wine press.) The
Son of man Himself obviously reaps the first fruits because His servants (literally the angel of the church
of the Laodiceans) are in no condition to do such a work, for they themselves are “wretched, and
miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked,” and know it not.” (Rev. 3:14-18)."

"“Looking down to this very time, the Spirit of Prophecy in Isaiah's day said: Isa. 63:5-- “And I looked, and
there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore Mine own arm brought
salvation unto Me, and My fury, it upheld Me.”

"“Here you note that when the time came there was not even one among His servants “to uphold” the
work of the harvest, and consequently the Lord Himself did the work without them."

“"For the second reaping, however, He uses His guileless “servants,” the “first fruits,” the 144,000, as
prefigured by the angel with the sharp sickle (Rev. 14:17,18).”” (V. T. Houteff, Timely Greetings, Vol. 2,
1948, No. 44, pp. 37,38). Also see Rev. 14:14-19.

(In the quote above, Houteff refers to Ellen White, founder and prophet of the Seventh Day Adventists, as
the Spirit of Prophecy. The reasons that I accept Houteff and White as authorities on Bible prophecy can
be found in No. 16, "A Warning To The Little Sheep," on this website.)

In Amos 9:13, that the plowman overtakes the reaper means that the harvest commences with a message
of the blood of Christ, and the Law of God, and the gathering of the Kingdom of God (from the reapers)
that reaches places where the Gospel of Christ has never even been preached. At its heels are support
workers (plowmen), ministering to flocks of new Christians.

Meanwhile, the treader of grapes overtakes the sower of seeds. Treaders of grapes squeeze the grape
juice from the grapes. All Christians know that Christ likened wine (fermented grape juice) to His blood.
So in effect, the treaders create gospel workers, those who testify of the miracle of Christ in their lives.
The treaders (evangelists) recruit gospel workers even before the sowers of seeds (gospel ministers)
can finish teaching them the Gospel Message. The treaders recruit the 200,000,000 person army of Rev. 9:
16.

Because this army has been a great source of controversy, I'm going to quote the scripture followed by
Houteff's comments. “And the number of the army of horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand;
and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in vision, and them that sat on them, having
breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone...” (Rev. 9:16-17). Houteff said: ““...the “army” of
“horses” is figurative of the workers who proclaim the final message... So as the horses are
representative of gospel messengers, and as the(y) (sic) are controlled and guided by their riders (divine
beings), then the “horsemen,” it automatically follows, are figurative of the angelic host who lead and
direct the saints in their work of proclaiming the message...”” (Ibid, Final Warning, 1935, p. 90).

Obviously, the sudden harvest takes place in the wake of a great revival and reformation. The catalyst
that brings forth this revival and reformation is the Loud Cry. As Houteff said; “Then the warning against
receiving the mark (Rev. 14:9-11), along with the call to come out, will be repeated with an exceeding
loud
cry
throughout Babylon's dominion.” (Ibid, The World Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, 1941, p. 36, 37). (In
Bible prophecy, Babylon is the symbol of our confusing and greedy world. The Babylonians descended
from those who build the tower of Babel, a symbol of confusion. Additionally, they stole the temple
vessels of gold and brass from God when they sacked Jerusalem.)

The loud cry has been a source of confusion for some years, because Ellen White identified William Miller
as the angel who brought forth the first two angel messages. Speaking of the second angel's message,
she said; ““After the warning message by the Millerite movement had been rejected by the churches...
God withdrew His Spirit from them. In evidence of this, “the Second Angel” announced: “Babylon is
fallen.” Rev. 14:8.”" But, she also said: "“I then saw the third angel. Said my accompanying angel, “Fearful
is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares, and seal, or
bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner.”” (Early Writings, p. 118).

Houteff, on the other hand, quietly associated the second angel's message “Babylon is fallen” with Ellen
White's Sabbath message. ““Immediately after 1844 A.D., the second angel's message of Rev. 14:8 was
proclaimed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the
wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Therefore it is evident the light shining through the types is the
only medium that can explain these prophetic mysteries in the Word of God. With the proclamation of the
fall of Babylon, it was announced that the so-called Christian festivals, such as Sunday keeping,
Christmas and Easter, also Baptism by sprinkling, and other false doctrines were unbiblical and of pagan
origin.”” (Ibid, The Shepherd's Rod, Vol. 2, 1932, p. 272,273).

Speaking of Rev. 14: 9,10 (the warning against receiving the mark of the beast), Houteff said; “The light
on this subject will spread as fire in stubble until it finally illuminates the whole earth (Rev. 18:1), and all
who walk in its blaze will have their names placed in the Lamb's Book of Life.” (Ibid, The World Yesterday,
Today, Tomorrow, 1941, p. 37). Since Houteff identifies this message as the Loud Cry when it is repeated
and the message is the one that seals those who walk in its blaze, it is vital that we understand whose
message it is if we wish to arrive alive in God's Kingdom on earth.

The scripture Rev. 14: 9-11 reveals the exact identity of the messenger. Here is the whole third angel's
message. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and
his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath
of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented
with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14: 9-11).

This scripture shows us the Lamb and holy angels present on earth and witnessing the torment of the
wicked in a judgment from God. The first question we must ask is, did anything like this happen during
Ellen White's lifetime? The answer is, No. Did something like this happen during Houteff's lifetime? The
answer is, Yes. The Holocaust happened during Houteff's ministry (1928 – 1955).

In fact, Houteff prophesied the Holocaust from the prophesies of Ezekiel 4 and 9. “We may suppose that
the 390 year period began in about 1500 A.D., (when Luther found the Bible), and ended in 1890 A.D.,
where the 40 year period began, which would end in 1930. However we cannot predict the exact day or
month or even year... The prophecy of Ezekiel gives the information in detail from the beginning of
Luther's reformation to Ezekiel 9, marking of the 144,000, and unrolling of the scroll.” (Ibid, The
Shepherd's Rod, Vol. 1, 1930, p. 116).

The application of Ezekiel 9 foretold by Houteff actually took place 430 years after Luther's personal
reformation. Luther was ordained a priest in 1507 and posted the 95 theses on the church door in 1517.
Adding 430 years to each of those years produces the span of years of the Holocaust, 1937 to 1947. That
means that Ezekiel 9, the order to “Slay utterly old and young, both maids and little children, but come not
near any man upon whom is the mark (the seal of God); and begin at My sanctuary;” (the judgment that
begins at the house of God, see 1 Peter 4:17), bypassed Houteff and the SDA and fell on the European
Jews. The Jews were and are God's people, the house of God. The judgment fell on them because they
had refused Christ, forgotten God's Law (Ez. 8:11,12) and oppressed their brethren of the lost tribes (Is. 3:
13-15). The smoke of their torment in the death camps arises as a sorrow and a horror that will never be
forgotten.

(The actual dates of the terrible persecution of the Jews differ slightly. Krystallnacht, the night of broken
glass, Nov. 9/10, 1938 was the beginning of nightmarish persecution with 90+ Jews killed, 25,000 to 30,000
Jews sent to concentration camps and broken glass, looting, and destruction in thousands of Jewish
businesses and hundreds of synagogues. Even the end of WWII in 1945 did not mark the end of the
struggle of the Jews. First they fought the British then the Arabs in Palestine before founding the nation
of Israel in 1948. The discrepancy in the dates from Luther's life and the dates of Jewish persecution may
simply be explained by saying that Martin Luther did not begin to question the Catholic Church's
doctrines until after he received his degree in Bible studies in 1908.)

While this was an Ezekiel 9 type of judgment, it actually fulfilled Ez. 7. (See No. 39, "The Judgments of
Ezekiel 7.")  The Battle of Jericho helps to explain the confusion. The Battle of Jericho was in two parts,
first the instructions, then the actual battle. The instructions were the seven angel messages of Rev. 14.
The actual battle will be the seven trumpets of the Revelation. What Houteff saw as Ezekiel 9 was actually
the instruction of Ezekiel 9 and a fulfillment of Ezekiel 7. Ezekiel 9 in its fullness will encompass the whole
world.

It is not possible that the judgment would have passed over Houteff's flock if his flock had not included
sealed servants of God, those who have the mark of Ez. 9:4. Christ pointed out that the resurrected
saints are “the children of God, being the children of the resurrection,'' and “neither can they die
anymore: for they are equal unto the angels.” (Luke 20:36, transposed).

So we can assume that sealed servants of God, who are assured of resurrection if they die, are also
equal to the angels. This explains the earthly presence of holy angels viewing the torment of the
European Jews. It also validates Houteff's prophesy of marking the 144,000. The sealing must have begun
well before the Holocaust. I should perhaps explain that the sealing is to be the work of more than one
person, since the angels holding back the winds (see Rev. 7:1,2) are told “Hurt not the earth, neither the
sea, nor the trees, till WE have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” (Rev. 7:3). (The Lord
showed me in vision that there was a sealing of 144,000 of the dead, which takes place during the angel
messages of Rev. 14, and a sealing of 144,000 of the living which takes place during the seven trumpets.)

So who was the Lamb? That would have to be the sealing angel who began the sealing of the 144,000, the
first fruits of the grain harvest. Remember that Houteff, in explaining Rev. 14:14-19, said that because the
angel of the church of the Laodiceans (the leadership) was wretched and miserable and poor and blind
and naked, the Son of man Himself would seal (harvest) the first fruits. (Ibid, Timely Greetings, Vol. 2,
1948, No. 44, pp. 37,38, previously quoted above). The Son of man DID begin the sealing and all of the
sealing will be done with Houteff's message.

In 1998, the Lord revealed to me that V. T. Houteff was His Son Yeshua (who most Christians call Jesus
Christ) in form and feature. I was on Mt. Carmel (the Branch Davidian property near Elk, Texas) at the time,
living in a tent. The message was too big for me, so for a while I just kept a journal. But later that year I
began writing tracts about it. The Davidian church in Waco despised and rejected the message although I
felt I had proved it from the Bible.

Before I discuss those Biblical proofs, I remind you that Houteff said that three things would happen
sometime after 1930. (See The Shepherd's Rod, Vol. 1, p. 116, quoted above.) Those three things were the
beginning of Ez. 9, the sealing of the 144,000 and the unrolling of the scroll. The explanation of Rev. 14:9-
11 above shows that the first two took place. Houteff's work shows the unrolling of the scroll also took
place between 1937 and 1948.

In 1937, following Seventh Day Adventist doctrine, Houteff said that the earth would be empty during the
Millennium. “Then as the saints ascend and the wicked die, the earth shall be left empty and dark (Jer. 4:
23-29) for a thousand years (Rev. 20:3), after which the Lord shall descend with the saints (Rev. 21:1-3),
purify the earth with fire (2 Pet. 3:10-13), and fit it anew for the saints eternal abode.” (Ibid, Mt. Sion at the
11th Hour, 1937, p. 108).

By 1944, without abandoning the idea of a rapture of the saints at the beginning of the Millennium,
Houteff was beginning to also teach the Kingdom on earth. (Ibid, Fundamental Beliefs, 1944, p. 10, No. 21,
p. 11, No. 9). Also in 1944, commenting on Daniel 2:44,45, Houteff said: ““Daniel here describes how the
earth's governments come to their end, not how the earth comes to its end. He interpreted the stone to
be the Kingdom, and it is God's Kingdom that will smite the nations, not Christ coming from heaven to
take up the saints, as we Adventists have taught. Jeremiah calls the Kingdom God's “battle ax.” (Jer. 31:
20).

"“What plainer language could be used to say that the Kingdom is going to be set up before the nations
come to their end? The trouble some have believing this is not because of the language the Bible used,
but the trouble is with our preconceived ideas that were built up throughout the years, and the only way
we can drive out our former erroneous ideas is to believe just what the Bible says.”” (Ibid, Symbolic
Code, Vol. 11, 1944, No. 12, p. 19).

In 1948, Houteff further clarified: ““Hos. 1:11-- “Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel
be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for
great shall be the day of Jezreel.”

"“Here we are definitely told that in the latter days, God's saints, without a sinner among them, are to be
gathered together from the four corners of the earth, and be organized into a Theocratic government, of
which antitypical David is to be the king. Thus it is that “... in the days of these kings (not after their days)
shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be
left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand
forever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it
brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to
the king what shall come to pass hereafter; and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.”
(Dan. 2:44,45)."

"“In another allegorical prophecy, in connection with this one, we are again told: Hos. 3:4,5-- “For the
children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and
without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: afterward shall the children of Israel
return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king: and shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the
latter days.”

"“Here again the promises are as clear as words can make them that after the dispersion and captivity,
the “many days,” God's scattered people are then to return to their homeland, and are then to seek the
Lord their God and David their king. Hence, these sons of God are not the identified and unbelieving
Jews of today, who are trying to make a permanent national home in the Promised Land."

"“Christians have for centuries preached the Kingdom of God, but it is not as yet clear to most of them
whether It is to be tangible as the earth itself, or whether It is to be something foamy, something floating
in space, or what? Inspiration, however, clearly declares that the Kingdom of Christ (the church purified--
cleansed Dan. 8:14) is to be as real as any of the kingdoms of earth.”” (Ibid, Timely Greetings, Vol. 2, 1948,
No. 21, pp. 7,8).

I quoted all those paragraphs for two reasons. First, they are an excellent example of the unrolling of the
scroll, and they fulfill Houteff's prophecy. Second, they illustrate the other Lamb prophecy that Houteff
fulfilled. In these quotes and thousands of other Biblical interpretations of all the relevant scriptures,
Houteff unlocked all of the prophesies of the earthly Kingdom of God. In fact, Houteff opened the first
seal on the first thunder.

Houteff never revealed anything about the thunders, but he said: “If, then, we are ever to know the truth
of the Seven Thunders, it is to be shown to us perhaps by the same means as the The Revelation was
shown to John.” (Ibid, Timely Greetings, Vol 2, 1948, No. 15, p. 4). And he only wrote about the seven seals
in a historical context. (Ibid, To The Seven Churches, The Breaking of the Seven Seals, 1947). He said
little about the seven Spirits of God and nothing about their earthly ministry. “And I beheld, and lo, in the
midst of the throne, and of the four beasts, and of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having
seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” (Rev. 5:6).

The seven Spirits of God appear in two other manifestations in God's throne room. They are teachers,
lamps of fire, as Christ and the Apostles, the light of the world. “And out of the throne proceeded
lightnings and
thunderings and voices; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne,
which are the seven Spirits of God.” (Rev. 4:5). Also, we know they are persons, because they send
greetings. “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which
is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits of God which are before His throne;
and from Jesus Christ...” (Rev. 1:4,5).

The seven Spirits of God are clearly attached to the Lamb as He opens the seals, but the scripture
records that the Lamb Himself opens the first one. “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals,
and I heard, as the noise of
thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold
a white horse: and he that sat upon him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to conquer.” (Rev. 6:1,2).

Of this scripture, Houteff said: ““... the white horse, the first in the symbolism, identifies the world's first
state of being-- pure and sinless with a Divinely crowned ruler (rider), who at first had no goal but to
subdue the earth and to fill it with eternal God-like beings... Plain it is that at the Throne of Judgment, the
white horse, his rider, and his crown, figuratively identify Adam, God's crowned king and his kingdom.
And if the only thing which he was commanded to conquer was the earth, by replenishing and subduing it,
then what else in the field of symbolism can the “bow,” the instrument to conquer with, logically
represent but Eve.”' (Ibid, To The Seven Churches, The Breaking of the Seven Seals, 1947, pp. 39,41).

God has never revised His plan. He still desires that earth should be populated by pure and sinless,
eternal beings. This seal has never closed and it has an end time application, as God sets up His
Kingdom on earth and puts His king, Christ, in charge of it. The only symbol that has changed is the bow
(rib), which initially represented Eve. In the latter days the bow is both a woman and a covenant. It is the
pure and holy church (represented as a woman) which will found God's Kingdom in response to the
covenants God made with Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (symbolized by a bow).

Houteff's explanation of all the scriptures pertaining to the founding of God's Kingdom on earth show him
to have opened this first seal in its end-time application. That either makes him a Lamb because he was
Christ in form and feature (as God told me in 1998), or he was a Lamb because he was the first of the
seven Spirits of God. The horns and eyes of The Lamb, Christ, must also be a Lamb in separate
manifestation.

I have emphasized (underlined) the thunder in two scriptures to show that the seals and the seven
Spirits of God are associated with revealing the thunders. That is beyond the scope of this tract (see
"Unsealing The Thunders" on this website), but the revelation on Mt. Zion includes a single thunder and
that you should understand. “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him a
hundred and forty and four thousand, having His Father's name within their foreheads. And I heard a
voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the
voice of harpers harping with their harps...” (Rev. 14:1,2)

The voice of many waters are those messages associated with Christ and His Apostles, the great thunder
is Houteff's message of the Kingdom on earth, and the harpers are teaching all these messages, but are
the sole authority on the messages after Houteff. This means that the thunder associated with Houteff is
the only thunder needed to seal the servants of God with Christ's “Father's name in their foreheads.”
(Rev. 14:1).

The seal is found in the hand of the angel of Rev. 7:2. “And I saw another angel ascending from the east
having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given
to hurt the earth and sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the
servants of God in their foreheads.” (Rev. 7:2,3). Because the United States was protected by God during
the Second World War, this sealing had obviously begun. (The few Germans who invaded us surrendered
without doing harm.) Houteff is this sealing angel; his message is the seal.

I believe that this small, humble immigrant from Bulgaria was also the fulfillment of Christ's prophecy of
Matt. 24:27. “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also
the coming of the Son of man be.” Lightning is associated with the seven Spirits of God. (See Rev. 4:5
quoted above.) Houteff came from the east, he immigrated from Bulgaria.

Further proof that Houteff was Christ Himself is found in Rev. 3:3. “Remember therefore how thou hast
received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore, thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a
thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come upon thee.” This warning was given to the church
in Sardis; but the scripture records that there were saints in Sardis, presumably waiting for Christ. “Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with Me in
white, for they are worthy.” (Rev. 3:4). Christ did not come as a thief to Sardis, they would have known Him.

The next church was Philadelphia, who Christ did not criticize at all. He promised to make their enemies
“worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” (Rev. 3:9). Houteff identifies this church as
the Millerite movement, who announced the Second Coming of Christ. (Ibid, The Great Paradox of the
Ages, 1933, p. 29). Obviously they were watching for Christ's return. They would have recognized Him.

It is to the church of the Laodiceans that Christ actually appears. After denouncing the church's
leadership as “wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” (Rev. 3:17), Christ says: Behold I
stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will
sup with him, and he with Me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My (earthly) throne,
even as I overcame, and am sat down with My Father in His (heavenly) throne.” (Rev. 3:20,21).

The conclusion: Houteff was Christ, He knocked on the door of the Laodiceans for 25 years, and now He
is sitting on God's throne in heaven, with His Father. This is the message that is the simple means that
God uses to bring about the sudden harvest. It is the Loud Cry of the third angels message, accompanied
with the word of the identity of the Messenger.

As a result of this message, “the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that
soweth seed, and the mountains (denominations) shall drop sweet wine (the message that Christ loves
us and came back to teach us how to set up God's Kingdom), and the hills shall melt (those small
churches keeping the feasts and teaching God's commands, shall become the bedrock of God's Kingdom
on earth).” (Amos 9:13).

Finally, I have a message to the sons of thunder. These are Houteff's successors who have risen up to
claim his church, whether they style themselves vice-presidents, or Davids or Joshuas. I call them sons
of thunder, because Houteff opened the seal on the first thunder, and they are his spiritual sons. Christ
also dealt with sons of thunder. “And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he
surnamed them Boanerges; which is, The sons of thunder.” (Mark 3:17).

“And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou should do
for us whatsoever we shall desire. And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? And
they said unto Him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on my right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in
thy glory. But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? And
be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with? And they said unto Him, We can. And Jesus said unto
them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of, and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall
ye be baptized: but to sit on My right hand and on My left hand is not Mine to give: but it shall be given to
them for whom it is prepared. And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James
and John. But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to
rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
But so it shall not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister. And
whosoever will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:35-44).

It is not given to you sons of thunder to illuminate the scriptures, that is the work of the seven Spirits of
God. You have, however, the knowledge to make yourselves very valuable to God. Alternately, you can
be a satanic roadblock as were the ministers of the Laodiceans. The judgment of the living has come to
you. Choose you this day who you will serve.
