I wrote at length about Rev. 13 in No. 120, "The Mark Of The Beast," so I'll just comment on the scripture
Rev. 13:11-18 briefly.

"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth (sprouting from an uncivilized land); and he had
two horns like a lamb (the horns symbolize President and Vice-President, the lamb symbolizes the
Christian principles of the new country), and he spake as a dragon (the lamb is to repudiate its Christian
principles and speak as Satan). (For details, see No. 176, "Tyranny Times Ten.")

"And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which
dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (The beast whose wound is
healed is the papacy who proclaimed that Sunday was the Sabbath. Like the great beasts before it, the
lamb-like beast has been the world power for many years and, despite the First Amendment, the
Supreme Court has upheld Sunday as the Sabbath,  ruling in 1961 that Sunday blue-laws are

"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth (atom bombs
at Hiroshima and Nagasaki) in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means
of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the
earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (The
image of the beast is a world power, the United Nations, which America caused to be created. The
United Nations only recognises one religion, The Roman Catholic church, which has had Permanent
Observer Status since 1964.)

"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both
speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he
causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or
in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name. (The United Nations was given life by the United States which is its
biggest supporter, providing billions annually to support the organization. The mark is an implanted
microchip, these already exist. The United Nations speaks for itself among the nations and currently it
has buy and sell restrictions on almost a dozen nations. As yet there is no death decree on those
without the mark, however since 2002, when the International Criminal Court was formed, the United
Nations has had formal jurisdiction over war criminals. Fundamentalist Christians are already being
described as potential terrorists by the government.)

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of
a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." (Rev. 13:11-18). (This sounds frightening, but
if you separate yourselves from the corrupt world and walk with Christ, you can rely on God's protection.
For a more complete explanation of this 666 verse, see No. 120, "The Mark Of The Beast."

The church that founds the Kingdom of God is also found in prophecy that describes how members
were lured into the wilderness (America) by hope of religious freedom and free land. For details, see
No. 19, "Prophecies Of The End Time Church."

The Kingdom of God has been preached in America for generations. In 1830, the Mormons began
preaching the Kingdom of God in the flesh, church founder Joseph Smith was teaching plural marriage
privately as early as 1831 or 1832. "If he take him another wife; her (his first wife's) food, her raiment,
and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish." (Ex. 21:10). Adherents lived in communities separate
from the world.

The Mormons paid a price for their message. Founder Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were
murdered. Several days after Missouri Governor governor, Lilburn Boggs, issued a Mormon
Extermination Order, Colonel William Jennings, Sheriff of Caldwell County massacred 17 Mormons at
Haun's Mill. The church fled west.

In 1831, William Miller began preaching the Kingdom of God as well, however Miller was preaching the
Second Coming, the Adventist spiritual message. In 1844, Ellen White began reporting visions. By 1849
her group of Adventists had accepted the original Biblical Sabbath, Saturday and in 1863, they formed
the Seventh Day Adventist church. Since the Second Coming and the restoration of the Biblical Sabbath
are clearly spiritual matters, the Adventist and Seventh Day Adventist churches were preaching the
Kingdom of God in the spirit. Members remained in the world.

In the 1920s, Victor Houteff, a Seventh-day Adventist Bible Student, became a Sabbath School teacher.
His studies became a book called "The Shepherd's Rod" in 1930 and began the Shepherd's Rod
movement. Houteff named his group the General Association of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists in
1942. In his writings, Houteff explained over 90 chapters of Biblical prophecy. He purchased property for
his flock to add a message of separation from the world, worship in flesh and spirit united.

After Houteff's death in 1955, Ben Roden founded a movement to begin keeping the Biblical feast days
of Leviticus 23 (which Houteff advocated but did not implement). The Bible calls the feast days of
Leviticus 23 "a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings." (Lev. 23:14,21,31,41
with slight variations in text).

New Testament support for Ben Roden's position can be found in the words of Paul, "Let no man
therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the
sabbath days." (Col. 2:16). And of course, Christ kept the Biblical feast days.

Ben Roden's wife, Lois began publishing a message about the femininity of the Holy Spirit in 1977 and
was the spiritual leader of the church from Ben's death in 1978 until her death in 1986.

This message, which incorporates the earlier messages, contains an explanation of dozens of chapters
of prophecy and calls for the faithful to leave the cities before the great judgments of the Seven Last

All of these messages have been persecuted. For details, see No. 9, "An Honest Church History." I do
not know if the economic malaise of the 1930s had anything to do with Houteff's church preaching the
Kingdom and buying land for his flock, but fulfilled prophecy reveals that his message of a literal
descendant of Biblical King David taking the throne of the Kingdom of God was the catalyst that lit the
Holocaust. Ezekiel 7, the prophecy of the Holocaust and WWII is explained on this website, see No. 39,
"The Judgments Of Ezekiel 7."

I do not know if Ben Roden's 1973 repurchase of 77 acres of the church property, sold off by Houteff's
widow after Houteff's death, had anything to do with the stagflation of the 1970s. However, I witnessed
the end of a struggle between the Roden family and various departments of the government trying to
take control of the church property.

On the other hand, it is my fervent belief that the impoverishment of the world's middle class is similar
to Pharaoh's first response to the call from Moses, "Let my people go!" Pharaoh forced the children of
Israel to work harder.

"And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, Ye
shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for
themselves. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall
not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our
God. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard
vain words." (Ex. 5:6-9).

I should note that a number of American churches now accept the Sabbath and feast days of the Bible
and that the Messianic Jewish movement is now thriving in America. Over the past thirty years, many
have heard the call, "Let my people go!"

Thirty years of financial fraud and government decisions that have been absolutely harmful to the
middle class have Americans working harder than ever to maintain a middle class lifestyle. Some are
slaving for mere survival. I believe that it's all part of the continuing battle against the Kingdom of God.

I have already said that this message is persecuted. By the grace of God, I have survived over 20 years
of unrelenting attempts to kill me. For the last 16 years I have carried my food everywhere with me in a
backpack or a supersized handbag and slept with it pinned to the mattress under my pillow. For more
information, see No. 103, "Surviving Poison," No. 104, "Kitchen Medicine," and No. 5, "Our God Is An
Awesome God."
